During the last weekend, one of the most chic event in the equestrian world took place in Paris: the prestigious Saut Hermès, an event that every year mixes glamour and sport, like only Hermès can do.

Durante il fine settimana che si è appena concluso è andato in scena a Parigi uno degli eventi più chic del panorama equestre mondiale: il prestigioso Saut Hermès, un evento che ogni anno mescola il glamour allo sport, come solo un marchio come Hérmes può fare.

As for the sport results, I’m very happy for Edwina Tops-Alexander, one of my equestrian idol, that won the Grand Prix Hermès, the most prestigious competition, riding California. She won beating another great horsewoman that I like, Pénélope Leprevost, that was riding Vagabond de la Pomme. One of the biggest promises of the showjumping’s world, Irish Bertram Allen on Molly Malone, was third.
Passando ai risultati sportivi del fine settimana, sono felice di fare i complimenti ad Edwina Tops-Alexander, uno dei miei idoli equestri, che in sella a California ha vinto il Grand Prix Hermès, la gara più prestigiosa della manifestazione. È riuscita a vincere battendo un’altra grande amazzone che adoro, Pénélope Leprevost, che era in sella a Vagabond de la Pomme. Terzo una delle grandi promesse dell’equitazione mondiale, l’irlandese Bertram Allen su Molly Malone.
The uniforms of the riders deserve of course a particular mention: I really loved that created by H&M Equestrian and worn by Olivier Philippaerts and Malin Baryard-Johnsson: the stripes in the right places made it elegant but also different from the others. Il Saut Hermès vuole anche sostenere i giovani talenti, dedicando loro un evento speciale. Quest’anno a vincere Les Talents d’Hermès è stato il nostro Emanuele Massimiliano Bianchi, su Zycalin W. Complimenti quindi ad Emanuele, gli auguro che questo sia solo il primo di una lunga serie di successi!

As usually, a news by Hermès was presented: the Hermès Arpège Saddle. Created in collaboration with Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Julia Chevanne, riders partners of the French house, the new dressage saddle has a particular design that allows agility of the movements and a more strict contact with the horse. I don’t know what do you think, but I instantly wanted to ride just watching it!
Come ogni anno è stata presentata una novità firmata Hermés: la Sella Hermès Arpège. Creata in collaborazione con Jessica von Bredow-Werndl e Julia Chevanne, amazzoni partner della casa francese, la nuova sella da dressage ha un design che permette di assicurare scioltezza dei movimenti e un contatto il più stretto possibile con il cavallo. Non so voi, ma a me viene una gran voglia di andare a cavallo anche solo guardandola!
Born a long time ago, in 1837, as a shop for equestrian products, today Hermès is synonymous of luxury and style. I really think that it’s the joining link between glamour and sport, the living example of the strong bond existing between the world of fashion and the world of equestrian sport, don’t you think?
Nato nel lontano 1837 come bottega di prodotti per l’equitazione, Hermés è diventato oggi sinonimo di lusso e classe. Io penso che sia l’anello di congiunzione tra glamour e sport, l’esempio vivente del forte legame che c’è tra il mondo della moda e quello degli sport equestri, non trovate anche voi?
