Dear Horse Lovers,
If there is a city in Europe famous for its sparkling and dynamic atmosphere, this is Berlin and for 2017 the Longines Global Champions Tour’s organizers decided to add this nice news to the tour. I visited Berlin many years ago and even then you could feel the special vibes. Today the capital of Germany is still one of the most dynamic, yet glamorous cities in Europe, the perfect stage for a super event like the LGCT!
If in Chantilly I suggested a classic outfit, in Berlin I would recommend the exact opposite: extravagance! I don’t think that there is another leg like this one to try a special outfit. Colors, shapes, fabrics: everything is permitted in Berlin.

Se c’è una città in Europa amata per la sua aria frizzante e dinamica, è Berlino e per il 2017 gli organizzatori del Longines Global Champions Tour hanno deciso di aggiungere questa bella novità al circuito. Ho visitato Berlino tanti anni fa e già allora si respirava questa atmosfera particolare, vivace e giovane. Oggi la capitale della Germania continua ad essere una della città più movimentate e glamour d’Europa, il palcoscenico perfetto per un evento super come il LGCT!
Se a Chantilly vi ho consigliato un outfit classico, a Berlino vi consiglierei l’esatto opposto: la stravaganza! Non penso ci sia un’altra tappa perfetta come questa per osare. Colori, forme, tessuti: a Berlino tutto è concesso.
Even for the uniform of the home team of the Global Champions League I would have try something more. The jacket of Berlin Lions (represented by Max Kühner, Ales Opatrny, Gerco Schröder, Cindy van der Straten-Marie and Anna Kellnerova) is blue, with some yellow detail. It is very elegant but I would have dared more with the yellow, to give that touch of vivacity that would have made the uniform of the Berlin Lions unique. Though, the combination of blue and yellow is already bold, as you can also see for the polo, that I like very much. Do you agree with me Horse Lovers?
Anche per la divisa della squadra di casa della Global Champions League avrei personalmente osato di più. La giacca che indossano i Berlin Lions (formati da Max Kühner, Ales Opatrny, Gerco Schröder, Cindy van der Straten-Marie e Anna Kellnerova) è blu, con qualche dettaglio giallo. È molto elegante ma avrei osato di più con il giallo, per dare quel tocco di brio che avrebbe reso la divisa dei Berlin Lions più vivace, unica. L’accostamento tra blu e giallo è comunque già particolarmente audace, come potete vedere anche nella polo, che mi piace molto. Siete d’accordo con me Horse Lovers?

Valkenswaard United won the GCL for the third time. I’m particularly happy for Alberto Zorzi, member of the team, who is bringing prestige to all Italian equitation with his successes!
Germany triumphed at the Berlin Grand Prix of the Longines Global Champions Tour presented by Sapinda. One of the local favorite, Christian Ahlmann on Codex One, won the competition, followed by the young German rider Simone Blum, who commented: “this is incredible!”
Ancora una volta i Valkenswaard United vincono il GCL, arrivando a quota tre vittorie! Sono particolarmente contenta per Alberto Zorzi, uno dei membri della squadra, che con i suoi successi sta portando prestigio anche a tutta l’equitazione italiana!
Trionfo tedesco al Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix di Berlino presented by Sapinda. Uno dei beniamini di casa, Christian Ahlmann in sella a Codex One, ha conquistato il primo posto, seguito dalla giovane amazzone tedesca Simone Blum che ha commentato: “questo risultato è incredibile!”
