The Longines Global Champions Tour 2017 carries on really fast: the event number eight just finished. I’m talking about the leg of Paris, organized under the majestic Tour Eiffel. The “International city of style” leg is one of the most iconic of the circuit supported by Longines. In addition to elegance and style, Paris celebrated also the well-known French “art de vivre”, through gastronomic creations of Alain Ducasse and Frédéric Vardon, 3 stars chefs participating in the “Grand Village” the area dedicated to animations, exhibitions and workshops.

Il Longines Global Champions Tour 2017 procede a gran velocità: si è già concluso l’evento numero otto, quello organizzato a Parigi, ai piedi dell’imponente Tour Eiffel. La tappa della “città internazionale dello stile” è una delle più scenografiche del circuito firmato Longines. Oltre all’eleganza e allo stile, a Parigi si celebra anche la famosa “art de vivre” francese, attraverso le creazioni gastronomiche di Alain Ducasse e Frédéric Vardon, chef 3 stelle presenti al “Grand Village”, l’area dedicata ad animazioni, esibizioni e workshop.

The Paris Panthers finally got the chance to compete in front of their public. Like Darragh Kenny expected, the crowd greeted the team with a lot of enthusiasm. “This show always has a huge atmosphere and the spectators will be behind us a little more than the others. It’s going to be really fun!”, the Irish rider said as soon as arrived.

The Global Champions League team of Darragh Kenny, Nayel Nassar, Jack Towell, Jennifer Gates and Lillie Keenan competes in style, with a blue jacket with white details, where there is embroidered their particular logo: a proud blue panther that stands out on a light-blue background. The polo t-shirt has the same colors. Indeed, the blue bridal tradition represents love, and is there ever a team more suited to wear this color than the home team of the “city of love”? What's more “celestial” than blue to express the highness and purity of feelings?

I Paris Panthers hanno finalmente potuto gareggiare davanti al proprio pubblico, che come Darragh Kenny aveva previsto, li ha accolti con grande entusiasmo. “Questo spettacolo gode sempre di un’incredibile atmosfera e il pubblico ci sosterrà un po’ di più rispetto alle altre squadre. Sarà divertente!”, ha dichiarato il cavaliere Irlandese appena arrivato.

La squadra della Global Champions League di Darragh Kenny, Nayel Nassar, Jack Towell, Jennifer Gates e Lillie Keenan gareggia in stile, con una giacca blu rifinita da dettagli bianchi, su cui è ricamato il particolare logo: una fiera pantera blu, che spicca su sfondo azzurro. Identici i colori della polo. D'altronde il blu nella tradizione nuziale rappresenta l'amore, e potrebbe esserci squadra più adatta a indossare questo colore che la squadra di casa della “città dell'amore”? Che cosa c'è di più “celestiale” dell'azzurro e del blu per esprimere l'elevatezza e la purezza del sentimento?

Julien Epaillard on Usual Suspect D'auge won the Longines Grand Prix of Paris, while St Tropez Pirates Jerome Guery and Simon Delestre won the Parisian leg of the GCL 2017. St Tropez Pirates now leads the general ranking on the Global Champions League with 152 points, while Harries Smolders leads the ranking of the LGCT 2017.

I cavalieri francesi hanno dominato in casa.
