April marks the beginning of spring, but there is another event that contributes to making the air more sparkling: the Milan Design Week is about to begin!
In 2017, right during this event, I launched the foulard collection by Tacchi a Cavallo. To me, fashion is art, attitude, personality. That's why I chose to create special accessories, which are able to describe my world through unique and exclusive materials, shapes and colours. Different from anything else.

il mese di aprile dà ufficialmente inizio alla primavera, ma c’è un altro evento che contribuisce a rendere l’aria più frizzante: sta per iniziare la Design Week di Milano!
Nel 2017, proprio in occasione di questo evento, ho lanciato la collezione di foulard di Tacchi a Cavallo. La moda per me è arte, carattere, personalità. Ecco perché ho scelto di creare accessori speciali, in grado di raccontare il mio mondo attraverso materiali, forme e colori unici ed esclusivi. Diversi da chiunque altro.
So, what better way to celebrate this important anniversary than taking part in the Carré Project, a special project conceived by designer extraordinaire Luisa Cevese. Luisa is the creator of Riedizioni, a line of products manufactured with post-industrial materials, deriving from the creative combination of fabrics and polyurethane. All pieces of the collection are unique and handmade in Italy, and they are based on creative reuse and sustainable fashion, in all its forms and nuances.
Come celebrare quindi questa ricorrenza così importante? Partecipando a un progetto speciale, il Carré Project, ideato da una designer d’eccezione: Luisa Cevese. Luisa è la creatrice di Riedizioni, una linea di prodotti realizzati con materiali di post-produzione industriale, derivanti dalla combinazione creativa di tessuti e poliuretano. Ciascun pezzo della collezione è unico e realizzato a mano in Italia, rispettando il riuso creativo e un approccio alla moda sostenibile in tutte le sue forme e sfumature.

The Carré Project sees Luisa transform customers' foulards into small or large bags, depending on the size of the scarf (or carré) itself, combining it with pure polyurethane to create a soft, light and waterproof material. Each Carré Bag then becomes an exclusive product for the person who supplied the carré. In fact, the ultimate aim of fashion is to tell the uniqueness and personal style of each one of us, in an innovative, conscious and responsible way.
This is why I decided to transform into bags two of the foulards from my Tacchi a Cavallo collection, which I launched last year – the blue one and the fuchsia-green one – two colours that recall the upcoming summer season and that can be easily combined with any kind of outfit.
Attraverso il Carré Project, Luisa trasforma i foulard delle clienti in borse piccole o grandi a seconda della dimensione del foulard (o carré) stesso, combinandolo con poliuretano puro per creare un materiale morbido, leggero e impermeabile. Ogni Carré Bag diventa così un prodotto esclusivo per la persona che ha fornito il carré: perché è questo in fondo lo scopo della moda, raccontare l’unicità e lo stile personale di ognuno di noi, in modo innovativo, consapevole e responsabile.
Per questo ho deciso di far trasformare in borse due miei foulard della collezione Tacchi a Cavallo lanciata lo scorso anno, quello blu e quello verde-fucsia, colori che richiamano la stagione estiva in arrivo e che si abbinano facilmente a qualsiasi outfit.
