[Travels] Milan Design week: my Fuorisalone 2014

The Milan Design week is like a theater set where any possible form of design is taking action :-)

Dear horse lovers, last week the incredible enthusiasm of the Design Festival transformed Milan into the capital of creativity with a dazzling variety of outdoor installations spread around the city.

Following my Fuorisalone with temporary spaces adapted to private premises of evocative beauty that let you discover timeless hidden corner of Milan. I could not miss the chance to share with you the experience offered... 100% original ;-)

The splendid setting of Palazzo Cusani in the heart of Brera District held the aesthetic touch of Oikos where color and material became the protagonists of a sensory journey among environmentally friendly wall decorations and surfaces. I really like it!

The Botanical Garden of Brera quickly became one of my favorite places with cute elegant white chairs and the very special charm of an ancient garden encapsulated in an historical building. Living Divani presented some of its new outdoor lines and iconic pieces.

The Church of San Carpoforo became the unconventional setting of Baccarat’s radiant creations. The comfort of a bathroom area, the luxury refinement of a Zénith chandelier with 84 sparkling lights and the famous Baccarat crystal glasses... a symphonie fantastique!

The smell of spring at the Palestro park in the Porta Venezia District.

The 18th-century Milan’s Palazzo Serbelloni along Corso Venezia was the stage of Hermès spectacular style who launched its latest home collection.

The special luxury experience of the ‘Pantographe’ and ‘Harnais’ lighting ranges by the Italian designer Michele De Lucchi was timeless and unforgettable!

I love the Hermes’s equestrian heritage! Where are my shoes? :-)

These were the exhibitions that I enjoyed the most for the Fuorisalone 2014And you? What did you like of the Milan Design week this year?
