The Longines Global Champions Tour of Monaco

An enchanting weekend combining equestrian sport and elegance

Dear horse lovers, life never ceases to surprise and amaze me!

Tomorrow I leave for the seventh leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour at the Principality of Monaco blessed by the Swiss-based Longines watchmaking company, Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the event.

Last night the great italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano on Admara II (pictured) won the main CSI5* feature class of the first day of the Monaco leg, the 1.50m - 1.55m Prix Massimo Dutti, competing against 44 combinations taking part from 19 different countries in the beautiful open sand arena nestled between the super yachts of Port Hercule and the city backdrop. Following, Scott Brash on Hello Annie (pictured) in second place for just eight hundredths of a second and Edwina Tops-Alexander on Heidi du Ruisseau Z (pictured) finishing the top three.

Here the exclusive interview of GCT TV with Emanuele Gaudiano

You can watch all the major competitions live on GCT TV

Don’t miss the Longines ProAm Cup Monaco Competition tonight from 20h30, with Charlotte Casiraghi as its patron, and the Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco tomorrow evening from 18h30, presented by HSBC Private Bank.

Stay tuned and keep follow me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter  ;-)
