Speed Demon Emanuele Gaudiano marks the LGCT Monaco

“Monaco is unique, the crowd is amazing, the setting is beautiful” (Jan Tops, Founder and President of the LGCT)

Dear horse lovers, the iconic Monte-Carlo destination is a very important stage of the 2016 Longines Global Champions Tour series as it open the latter half of the season and even drop scores start to come into play for the final LGCT Champion of Champions title battle, won last year by Luciana Diniz - See my post here

Held from 24th to 26th June at the magical venue of Port Hercule, the highlights of the prestigious LGCT Monaco have been: on Friday, the Longines Pro Am Cup won by Inigo Lopez de la Osa on Diamand and Escribano Inigo Lopez de la Osa on Cassunta Z, and on Saturday, the victory of a spell-binding Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco by speed demon italian rider Emanuele Gaudiano and his impressive grey horse Caspar 232, followed by compatriot Piergiorgio Bucci and Casallo Zat with a strong silver medal, and the Swedish rider Rolf-Göran Bengtsson with his horse’s sire Casall ASK finishing in third position. “It was a very Italian day!” said Jan Tops, Founder and President of the LGCT.
