It’s all about finding the right outfit for your kid and wearing your hat!
Lots of women often ask me what to wear to an equestrian event, including how to dress the kid! So, inspired by my last equestrian event with Longines at the International Horse Show of Rome Piazza di Siena – see my post “The 84° CSIO Rome Piazza di Siena with Longines: Day #1” – where I shot these pics, here are my advises and tips on how to always (or almost) be perfect and ready for any outdoor event, from Polo to Horse Shows.

Molte donne mi chiedono spesso cosa indossare per un evento equestre, incluso come vestire il bimbo! Beh, prendendo spunto dal mio ultimo evento equestre con Longines al Concorso Internazionale di Roma Piazza di Siena – potete vedere il mio post “The 84° CSIO Rome Piazza di Siena with Longines: Day #1” – dove ho scattato queste foto, ecco alcuni consigli e suggerimenti per essere sempre (o quasi) impeccabili e pronte per ogni evento outdoor, dal Polo al Salto Ostacoli.
It’s very important for me to feel good in my clothes as to wear them the right way and freely move and play with my little boy. Unless there’s a pretty strict Dress Code like at the Royal Ascot – see my post “Royal Ascot 2016” – try to choose an outfit of neutral garments, like palazzo pants or also jeans with shirts and tops, combined with an elegant hat to enrich your style, either with the hair down or with a loose ponytail. The result will be way better than you can imagine, I promise!
For my kid, I really like the Italian brand Chicco and its recently launched eshop where I found this amazing suit perfect for equestrian events: a classic shirt with a tie and white shorts. With us, cannot miss a blanket (better if in equestrian style like this one from Mini Britches :-) and well… the toys, lots of toys. My baby and I love Sophie la girafe®, made from 100% natural rubber is a great toy for babies that are starting to go through the teething stage.
E’ molto importante per me sentirmi bene nei vestiti che indosso, per portarli nel modo giusto, muovermi liberamente e giocare con mio figlio. A meno che non ci sia un rigoroso Dress Code come per Royal Ascot – potete guardare il mio post “Royal Ascot 2016” – cercate di scegliere un outfit neutro, come dei pantaloni a palazzo o anche dei jeans con camicie o top, abbinato a un cappello elegante che valorizza il vostro stile, sia con i capelli sciolti che con una coda di cavallo. Il risultato sarà meglio di quanto possiate immaginare, lo prometto!
Per il mio bambino adoro il brand Chicco e il loro nuovo eshop dove ho trovato questo fantastico completo perfetto per gli eventi equestri: una camicetta classica con cravattino e pantaloncini bianchi. Con noi, non può mancare una coperta (meglio se in stile equestre come questa di Mini Britches :-) e… i giochi, tanti giochi. Noi adoriamo Sophie la girafe®, fatta 100% di gomma naturale è un ottimo gioco per i piccoli che iniziano con la dentizione.
