Finally the Longines Global Champions League 2017 arrived in Rome! I could not wait to see live this exciting challenge, guest of Longines, Title Partner, Timekeeper and Official Watch of the circuit. For the event, I chose a silk foulard from my Tacchi a Cavallo collection: shades of blue with pink and golden details to welcome the autumn season in style.

Finalmente la Global Champions League 2017 è arrivata a Roma! Non vedevo l’ora di vedere dal vivo questa emozionante sfida, ospite di Longines, Title Partner, Cronometrista e Orologio Ufficiale del circuito. Per l'evento, ho scelto un foulard in seta della mia collezione Tacchi a Cavallo: toni di blu con dettagli rosa e oro per abbracciare con stile questa stagione autunnale.
I have probably already told you I have a thing for the Rome Gladiators and seeing them live was really amazing! Not just because they are my home team, but also because I think that their uniforms are the most unusual. The bright green together with the white and red details make the jacket of Laura Kraut, Lorenzo de Luca, Abdel Saïd, Marlon Módolo Zanotelli and Olivier Philippaerts unique on the field!
Forse vi avevo già detto che ho un debole per i Rome Gladiators e averli visti gareggiare in casa è stato davvero uno spettacolo fantastico! E non solo perché sono la squadra della mia città, ma anche perché trovo che le loro divise siano quelle più particolari. Il bel verde acceso e i dettagli bianchi e rossi rendono la giacca della squadra di Laura Kraut, Lorenzo de Luca, Abdel Saïd, Marlon Módolo Zanotelli e Olivier Philippaerts inconfondibile in campo!

The Rome Gladiators made their entry in the arena of the Stadio dei Marmi as stars, on a carriage escorted by real gladiators, the one I happily met at the shopping village :-)
I was there and I must say that this was one of the best entrance of this season. I loved also the entrance of the Miami Glory, but I might be biased: which was your favorite Horse Lovers?

I Rome Gladiators hanno fatto la loro entrata nell’arena dello Stadio dei Marmi da star, su una carrozza, scortati da veri gladiatori, gli stessi che ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare allo shopping village :-)
Ho assistito dal vivo alla loro entrata ed è stata una delle più belle di questa stagione. Anche quella dei Miami Glory mi era piaciuta molto, ma forse sono di parte: qual è stata la vostra preferita Horse Lovers?
As every year, I had the honour to join the reconnaissance of the course for the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Rome, designed once again by the great Uliano Vezzani. Being into the arena is a unique experience to see close up all tricks of the fences and jumping difficulties for the horse and the rider. An opportunity also to walk next to the horse riders stepping the distance around the course and stand by the obstacles, unmissable the blue and white Longines vertical.
Come ogni anno, ho avuto l'onore di partecipare al giro di ricognizione del Gran Premio del Longines Global Grand Tour di Roma, disegnato ancora una volta dal grande Uliano Vezzani. Essere nell'arena è un'esperienza unica di vedere da vicino le peculiarità dei salti e le difficoltà per il cavallo e il cavaliere. Un'occasione anche per camminare accanto ai cavalieri che percorrono le distanze intorno al campo e passare vicino agli ostacoli, tra tutti immancabile il verticale blu e bianco Longines.
Hamburg Diamonds won the leg of Rome of the GCL 2017: now they have a big advantage on their direct rivals, the Valkenswaard United. The GCL gave us a confirmation, while the Grand Prix of the Longines Global Champions Tour of Rome gave us a surprise: the young Swedish Evelina Tovek won her first GP. Congratulation Evelina!
Come ogni anno, ho avuto l'onore di partecipare al giro di ricognizione del Gran Premio del Longines Global Grand Tour di Roma, disegnato ancora una volta dal grande Uliano Vezzani. Essere nell'arena è un'esperienza unica di vedere da vicino le peculiarità dei salti e le difficoltà per il cavallo e il cavaliere. The Longines Global Champions Tour 2017 already has a winner: Harrie Smolders mathematically won the trophy! We will celebrate him in Doha! Too bad for Italian Lorenzo de Luca, who has always been near the top: he will retry next year.
La tappa di Roma della GCL 2017 è stata vinta dagli Hamburg Diamonds, che così hanno adesso un bel vantaggio sui loro diretti rivali nella classifica generale, i Valkenswaard United. Se la GCL ha dato delle conferme, il Grand Prix del Longines Global Champions Tour di Roma ci ha regalato una bella novità: la giovane svedese Evelina Tovek ha vinto il suo primo GP! Congratulazioni Evelina!
Il Longines Global Champions Tour 2017 ha già un vincitore: Harrie Smolders ha già matematicamente vinto il trofeo! Lo celebreremo a Doha! Peccato per il nostro Lorenzo De Luca, che è sempre stato vicino alla vetta: ci riproverà il prossimo anno.
