Longines Novelties conquered Rome at the Longines Global Champions Tour 2017

As you know, I had the honor to watch live the Longines Global Champions Tour 2017 in Rome: but you still don’t know that Longines organized also an event into the event, opening an exclusive pop up store at the LGCT in Rome, to celebrate the 185° anniversary of the Swiss brand.

Come sapete ho avuto l’onore di assistere dal vivo al Longines Global Champions Tour di Roma: quello che ancora non vi ho raccontato è che Longines ci ha regalato un evento nell’evento, aprendo al LGCT di Roma un esclusivo pop up store, in occasione dei 185 anni di attività!

All the 2017 novelties were there, in front of my eyes, also the wonderful line The Longines Master Collection Blue Edition, the official watch of the competition: a feminine model, of 29 millimeters diameter, with a sunray blue dial, adorned with 12 diamonds indexes. The same watch was awarded to Evelina Tovek, who won the GP of the Longines Global Champions Tour in Rome. Honestly, I think that this is one of the most elegant collections made by Longines: maybe is for the blue dial, maybe is for the leather strap in the same blue color, with details always incredibles, but with this new collection Longines really made its best. Don’t you think the same Horse Lovers?

Tutte le novità 2017 erano lì, davanti ai miei occhi, anche la meravigliosa linea The Longines Master Collection Blu, di cui fa parte l’orologio ufficiale della gara: un modello femminile da 29 millimetri di diametro con quadrante blu soleil, ornato da 12 indici di diamanti. Lo stesso orologio che è stato regalato ad Evelina Tovek, la vincitrice del GP del Longines Global Champions Tour di Roma. Onestamente trovo che questa sia una delle collezioni più eleganti di Longines: sarà il nuovissimo quadrante blu, sarà il cinturino in pelle dello stesso colore, con dettagli curati e non eccessivi, ma con questa collezione Longines si è davvero superata. Non trovate anche voi Horse Lovers?

For this occasion, I wore the new model of The Longines Equestrian Collection 2017, a delicate and elegant item, in perfect Longines style. I love the modern touch that the metal watchband give to the collection.

I was with the new influencer of Longines Italy, Carlo Sestini, who was wearing The Longines Master Collection Blue Edition: it was a pleasure to be at the same table to watch the competitions, and we also had fun making some shot together during the warm-up.

Io per l’occasione ho indossato uno dei nuovi modelli della Longines Equestrian Collection 2017, un pezzo delicato ed elegante, in pieno stile Longines. Adoro il tocco moderno del cinturino in metallo al posto di quello in pelle, introdotto nella nuova collezione.

Insieme a me c’era anche il nuovo influencer di Longines Italia, Carlo Sestini, che ha indossato uno dei modelli della Longines Master Collection Blu: è stato un piacere assistere alle gare al tavolo con lui e ci siamo divertiti a fare qualche scatto insieme durante il giro di ricognizione. 

Longines decided to gift who entered the temporary shop of the LGCT village with a special picture in limited edition and colored in blue, the color of Longines. Photos showed breathtaking view of Rome, her Eternal Elegance. I must say that it was really hard to choose, has they were all so charming, but in the end I’ve chosen the one with Saint Peter's Basilica by night, from the river.

Longines ha anche deciso di fare un regalo a tutti coloro che sono entrati nel negozio temporaneo allestito nel villaggio del LGCT: una speciale fotografia d’autore in edizione limitata colorata in blu, il colore di Longines. Le foto ritraevano scorci mozzafiato di Roma, la sua Eterna Eleganza. Devo ammettere che è stato difficile scegliere, perché erano tutte davvero affascianti, ma alla fine ho deciso di prendere quella che ritrae la Basilica di San Pietro di notte, dal lungo Tevere.
