Exclusive interview with Mr. Charles Villoz, Longines Vice President and Head of International Sales

“Equestrian sport is our passion and best reflects Longines timeless elegance, tradition and performance” (Mr. Charles Villoz, VP and Head of International Sales at Longines)

Dear horse lovers, I want to take you back to the Monegasque weekend with Longines, where I spent amazing time during the Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco interviewing Mr. Charles Villoz, VP and Head of International Sales at Longines.

This interview gave me the chance to step deeper into the Swiss watchmaking world of Longines and its passion for equestrian sports.

What does it mean for Longines being the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of the most prestigious equestrian events such as the Longines Global Champions Tour?

Longines has been partnering with equestrian sports for more than a century and it is today very proud and very honored to be the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper of iconic events in the show jumping world, in flat racing and eventing competitions. They sweep you deep into the heart of the equestrian action in which Longines is passionately involved while remaining true to the timeless elegance that is the core value of the brand. The Longines Global Champions Tour is the world's leading show jumping series where the best international horses and riders compete in spectacular destinations fostering the brand recognition and enchanting those who seek excellence and fine Swiss watchmaking timepieces. It is a win win Partnership!

How equestrian bloggers can best partner with Longines?

Bloggers opinions and suggestions are important to spark innovation from the bottom up. They can offer promising new ideas and practices.

Why Longines chose the Longines Conquest Classic Moonphase watch as the symbol of the event?

We especially chose the prize as Longines Conquest Classic Moonphase in stainless and enhanced by the silver dial with moon phases because it perfectly echoes the elegance and excellence of the stars of the equestrian sports.
