Dear Horse Lovers,
The equestrian world has been part of my life for many years: it has changed me; it made me grow. Yet, despite the passing of time, I can’t help being so passionate about details, nuances and news regarding it.

A few days ago I was taking a look at the pictures taken in Saint Tropez at the Athina Onassis Horse Show, leg of the Longines Global Champions Tour and one of the world’s most premier show jumping competitions. Orchestrated by rider Athina Onassis, this exceptional event, that ended last June, boasted the participation of Dolce&Gabbana as Prestigious Partner of the show for the third time in a row.

il mondo equestre fa ormai parte della mia vita da tantissimi anni: mi ha cambiata, mi ha fatta crescere e continua ancora oggi a darmi tantissimo. Eppure, nonostante il tempo che passa, continuo ad appassionarmi ai dettagli, alle sfumature e alle continue novità.

Qualche giorno fa stavo guardando le foto a Saint Tropez dell’Athina Onassis Horse Show, tappa del circuito del Longines Global Champions Tour e una delle competizioni di salto ostacoli più importanti al mondo. Orchestrato dall'amazzone Athina Onassis, questo eccezionale evento, conclusosi lo scorso 2 giugno, ha visto per il terzo anno consecutivo la partecipazione di Dolce&Gabbana in qualità di Prestigious Partner dello show.











Dolce&Gabbana has transformed the arena into an explosion of floral decorations, which have literally enveloped and 'flooded' the obstacles with colours. Only an extrovert and unconventional brand could achieve such a remarkable harmony between fashion, beauty and sport, transforming even the aesthetics of the obstacles themselves.

This year the participation in the Athina Onassis Horse Show of the Italian fashion house has brought a decidedly out-of-the-box contribution. In addition to the floral motifs that stole the show, from the arena to the stands, the two fashion designers went as far as personalizing in D&G the entire stand of Pastificio Di Martino, one of the food producers present at the event.

Dolce&Gabbana ha trasformato il campo di gara in un’esplosione di decorazioni floreali, che hanno letteralmente avvolto e inondato di colore basamenti e pareti laterali degli ostacoli. Solo un brand così estroverso e unconventional poteva raggiungere una tale armonia fra moda, bellezza e sport, trasformando persino l’estetica degli ostacoli stessi.

Quest’anno la partecipazione all’Athina Onassis Horse Show della casa di moda italiana ha portato un contributo decisamente fuori dagli schemi. Oltre ai motivi floreali che hanno rubato la scena dal campo di gara fino agli spalti, i due fashion designer si sono spinti ben oltre, arrivando anche a personalizzare in D&G l’intero allestimento del Pastificio Di Martino, uno dei food stand presenti all'evento.

Dolce&Gabbana never misses the opportunity to revolutionize the way of conceiving the world of fashion design. As an undisputed leader in the world of Made in Italy, the maison has always paid homage to the most classic clichés of our nation; Sicily, the birthland of Domenico Dolce, was dedicated some of the most iconic collections among which is reference to the typical Sicilian cart.

Details, freedom of expression, sheer creativity that expands from the world of fashion to equitation and more: every time I witness such magic I always get excited as if it were the first time.

Dolce&Gabbana non perde mai occasione di rivoluzionare il modo di intendere il fashion design. Fiera portatrice nel mondo del Made in Italy, la maison rende omaggio da sempre ai più classici cliché sulla nostra nazione; alla Sicilia, terra natale di Domenico Dolce, sono state in particolare dedicate alcune delle più iconiche collezioni fra cui spicca, guarda un po’, anche un richiamo al tipico carretto siciliano.

I dettagli, la libertà di espressione, la creatività che si espande dalla moda al mondo dell’equitazione e non solo: ogni volta che assisto a una tale magia mi entusiasmo sempre come se fosse la prima volta.
