Hermès Spring Summer 2018, among Tartan and Equestrian Style

Dear Horse Lovers,

Hermès presented at the Paris Fashion Week 2017 the new Ready-To-Wear Collection for Spring Summer 2018. And well, I must say, a lot of tartan! Riding this Fall Winter trend that saw the tartan back, Hermès reinterpreted the classic British fabric also in a new springtime version, with many shapes and colors, soft lines, and an extremely refined, minimal style: my favorite item is the skirt pants. Hermès is always Hermès, its very French elegance is unique.

Hermès ha presentato alla Paris Fashion Week 2017 la nuova Collezione Ready-To-Wear per la Primavera Estate 2018. Che dire se non tanto tartan! Cavalcando il trend di questo Autunno Inverno che ha visto un deciso ritorno del tartan, Hermès lo reinterpreta anche in versione primaverile, in diverse forme e colori, con uno stile decisamente minimal ed estremamente raffinato, dalle linee morbide: il mio pezzo preferito è la gonna pantalone. Hermès è sempre Hermès, la sua eleganza francese è ineguagliabile. 

Beyond tartan, there are of course equestrian accessories inspired clothing: reins, stirrups, colored ribbons, buckles and also cockades. Because every Hermès collection needs them, right Horse Lovers?

Oltre al tartan, non mancano i capi d'abbigliamento con stampe ispirate ad accessori equestri: redini e staffe, nastri colorati, fibbie e anche coccarde. Perché una collezione Hermès non ne può fare a meno, vero Horse Lovers?

Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski is the creative director of Hermès since 2014 and she keeps reinterpreting the classical style of the Parisian fashion house, making it modern and actual at the same time. In this way, the original equestrian style of Hermès is preserved, without give up to some fresh touch.

Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski è la direttrice creativa di Hermès dal 2014 e da allora continua a reinterpretare lo stile classico della casa di moda parigina rendendolo però nel contempo sempre moderno e attuale. In questo modo, si preserva l’originale stile equestre di Hermès, suo tratto caratteristico, senza però rinunciare ad un tocco fresco.

Talking about traditional style, we can’t not think to the iconic Kelly and Birkin bags by Hermès! Two timeless models, loved all around the world, even from the biggest stars. More chic and classical the Kelly bag, more casual the Birkin bag, they are both expression of the immortal equestrian style by Hermès: a must have also for us Horse Lovers, right?
